XC Trip to the Tug Hill Region

Cross Country Ski in the Tug Hill Region

When: Monday, Feb. 28 to Wednesday, March 2, 2022

Where: This u-drive trip to upstate New York's snowbelt is set up for three days of skiing and two nights lodging at the swanky Tailwater Lodge in Altmar.

What: We'll meet at 10 a.m. on Monday at Osceola Ski and Sport Resort. Further details will be provided later by the trip leader, Carol Brugger.

After a day of skiing, you'll drive to the lodge where you can enjoy the 12-person hot tub, the indoor pool or even go to the full-service spa. A game room and fitness center are also available. We'll gather in a private common area for a happy hour before dinner. Meals are not included but can be purchased at the hotel. The food is really good!

We'll ski in the Tug Hill area on Tuesday and return to the lodge for another fun evening. After checking out on Wednesday, you can ski for another day or head home. Trail fees are not included.

How to sign up: Each club member should register individually here, on the club's website, so trip leader knows who is going and can communicate with you. Rooms are $119 per night until Jan. 27 and must be booked directly with the Tailwater Lodge. Check in is 3 p.m. and check out is 11 a.m.

How to book your room: Reservations can be made online or by phone.

Phone: Call the hotel at 315-298-3434 and give the agent the group code which is TRIPLE to get the discounted rate.

2. Edit Arrival/Departure dates (valid Feb. 28 to March 2, 2022)
3. Number of rooms/guests
4. Click Special Rates button
5. Group code is TRIPLE
6. Click Update
7. The group rate of $119 single/double will appear for reservations. Guests must reserve with a credit card. A card will be authorized upon arrival for the full amount plus incidentals. The card will not be charged until the day of departure. To receive the discounted rate of $119, all room must be booked by Jan. 27, 2022. You have until 24 hours before arrival to cancel your reservation. Who can beat that!
