The fall Adopt-A-Highway clean up is scheduled for Sunday, Oct. 16. More participants means less work for each and we get done faster!
The group will meet at 7:45 a.m. at Winans Ave., and Vestal Road in Vestal, NY. Park on Winans Ave. At 8 a.m. we will head out groups of 2-3 to clean up our section of Route 17 until 9:30 a.m., then head to a club-sponsored breakfast.

Directions: From Rt 17 Eastbound, take Exit #68 for Old Vestal Road. At the end of the ramp, turn right on Pearl Street, turn right on Old Vestal Road, pass Fourth Avenue and turn right on Winans Avenue.
Please wear sturdy work shoes or hiking boots. Bring your own heavy-duty work gloves, if you wish. Dress according to the weather. Long sleeves and pants are recommended. We will have bags for the trash and safety vest and work gloves to borrow. Trash grabber sticks come in handy if you have one.
It's a fun group activity and great exercise while keeping our community clean and beautiful. We hope you can join us. The more people we have, the sooner we get done!
