A two-hour drive from Binghamton is Plattekill Mountain, nestled in the northwestern part of the Catskills. A family-owned and operated mountain; they're best described as "FIERCELY INDEPENDENT" and pride themselves in offering good old-fashioned ski resort charm. 

With 175 inches of average snowfall, and 75% snowmaking, Plattekill has big mountain terrain with 41 exciting trails to choose from.  Starting with a 2-mile long beginner cruisers to steep double-black diamonds with 1100 ft of vertical drop.  There truly is something for everyone.  Click HERE for trail map.

December 2018 Powder Magazine described Plattekill as...
"the Alta of the Catskills."  In January 2019 the Sunday NY Times quoted... "25 years later, the scrappy, indie mountain is thriving."

20% difficult	Vertical - 1,100 ft
20% most difficult	41 trails  /  4 lifts

HOW to purchase your $45 lift ticket...

Club members MUST register directly with Plattekill and pay in full by Jan 22nd.
Go to https://shop.plattekill.com/groups and input the code, "SkiClubDay2", and click continue.  Next page will show date:  Fri, Jan 24th, 2025.

You'll be asked to input your name, contact info, emergency contact person and their phone number.  Continue to check-out with your credit card info.

Après Ski event...?

We are looking into possibly a tailgate party at the resort around 3:30 pm, or a place to eat dinner at a restaurant around 5 pm. TBD..! ...stay tuned...

Bus Transportation...??

At this time this is a self-drive trip. However, if we get 40 plus people to register ahead of time, we'll look at the cost of a bus.  TBD
