Pickleball is the fastest growing sport in the US. Come join us if you are new to sport and wish to learn the basics or you have just started playing and wish to improve your game.

Where: Grippen Park Pickle Ball Courts in former ice skating rink
When/Time: Wednesday, Sept 24, 2025, 5:00pm-7:00pm. Please plan to arrive by 4:45pm
Rain Date: None, courts are under overhead cover of former ice skating rink. Should the weather be stormy and windy the event will be cancelled
Skill Level: Beginners who want to start playing or those who have just started playing and/or competing and want to improve their game
Number of Participants: At least 10 and no more than 24.
Dress: Shorts, short sleeve shirts, athletic shoes or sneakers (running shoes not recommended), appropriate weather layering gear
Pickleball Equipment Required: Pickleball racquet; limited number of racquets will be provided; Pickleballs will be provided
Beginner Skills Topics: Rules of Play and Stroke basics; Also practice game and stroke practice against wall. It is recommended that you view the following links prior to attending to help you familiarize yourself with the rules and scoring:
