January 30 – February 6, 2027

Mt. Bachelor, Bend, Oregon

We are joining EPSC’s 2027 Winter Carnival!

*$2100 Per Person, Double Occupancy, Using Your Ikon Pass

The 2027 Eastern Pennsylvania Ski Council Winter Carnival will be held at Mt. Bachelor in Bend, Oregon! If you enjoy the social aspects of skiing, this is the trip for you! We've heard the carnival trips with the council are a blast! There will be a gala banquet with a DJ and and dancing, a welcome reception, and ski racing. Come meet new friends from our council at all these great activities! Mt. Bachelor averages over 400 feet of snowfall each season and is the largest ski resort in the Pacific Northwest. But it’s easy to navigate despite the whopping 4,323 skiable acres. And it’s a VOLCANO! How often can you say you could ski 360º off the top of a volcano? No worries – the last eruption was 10,000 years ago. And, you get to stay in the high desert oasis of Bend, an authentic mountain town chock-full of charm, great après-adventure entertainment, friendly people, tax-free shopping, over 30 craft breweries, distilleries, 300 days of sunshine and a hidden Broom Closet Speak Easy – see if you can find it for a discreet drink!

Don’t let the idea of a “race” deter you. The Carnival Race is a “FUN” Race and anyone who can ski at more than a real beginner level can have a great time participating in the races. The racecourse is typically set up for intermediate type skiers and in a Giant Slalom format. Even if you have never raced before, you should give it a shot. It’s lots of fun and it is great to participate together with our fellow club members, plus we could win awards too! We encourage you to give it a try!! And, you'll get a Race Day lunch voucher! View Trail Map
