It's Summer paddle time! What better way to spend a summer evening than to be out on the water with fellow ski club members!
Where: We'll meet in the large waterfront parking lot (to right of the boat launch), which can be seen as you drive down the entrance road. We'll enjoy the lake for a couple of hours. Afterwards, we'll meet at The Scoop Ice Cream shop on Rt 11 in Whitney Point for some ice cream treats!
What to bring: Bring your kayak, canoe, small sailboat or paddle board. Or you can rent a kayak (single or double), canoe, paddle board, paddle boat, row boat or small sailboat for just $5 or $10 an hour* after a $20 deposit, that's returned once the watercraft is brought back. The last rental takes place at 6 p.m. and must be returned by 7 p.m. *Veterans and seniors 60+can rent rowboats and canoes for $5 an hour. Kayaks are $10 an hour for everybody
Helpful Tip: It's a good idea to come earlier to be on the water to give yourself enough time if you're renting. Rentals are first come, first served. Renters need to paddle to the waterfront where cars are parked to meet up with those who have their own watercraft.

Arrive when you can. We'll start out with whoever is ready to go and others can catch up. Notify host, Jill Darling, if you arrive later so we know you're part of the group and out on the water. We go down the lake a ways and then turn around to come back.
Looking forward to seeing folks..!! Your Ski Club Activities Committee: Eileen and Jill
Host: Jill Darling, 607-239-1029
Our next paddle date is August 5th, same location.
